Our membership structure
Eighty member companies across the Greater Kansas City region, built around precision manufacturers and the partners who support them.
KC NTMA is built around a strong network of precision manufacturing companies and industry partners working together to strengthen Kansas City’s manufacturing community. Our membership includes two primary categories.
Category one
Manufacturing Members
Precision manufacturing companies, including machine shops, tool and die companies, fabricators, welders, and other manufacturers directly engaged in production.
Category two
Associate Members
Businesses and organizations that support the precision manufacturing industry through professional services, technology, workforce solutions, education, financial services, and other resources.
Annual associate dues are $1,200, and they come directly back to the chapter to support local events.

This structure is intentional. KC NTMA maintains a 2:1 ratio of manufacturing members to associate members to ensure that the chapter remains focused first and foremost on the needs, challenges, and priorities of precision manufacturers. It allows industry partners to bring valuable expertise and resources to the table while keeping manufacturing at the center of our conversations and programming.
Membership is more than a business connection; it is an opportunity to be part of a collective voice working to strengthen and grow precision manufacturing in Kansas City.

Manufacturing members join through the national association. Associate membership is limited by the ratio, so if you are an industry partner, talk to the chapter first. Either way, most members join after meeting the chapter in person at an event.
